Construction on The Carnegie, the new 16-story Class A office tower in Sundance Square, is just about complete. I saw a tenant moving in recently, most likely EOG Resources. The building’s traditional design is turning out very well indeed, in my opinion. Now, some detail shots.

Speaking of Camp Bowie & Merrick, here’s a rendering of the new office building being built by Clifton Capital at that intersection, which is replacing the now-demolished car wash that stood there previously:

XTO Energy continues their restoration of 714 Main to its original appearance - here, you see the building’s original facade, exposed after the removal of two modernizations.

Wagner Oil’s new Caceria Building is really looking like a gem. They’ve clearly spent a lot of time and money on the building’s beautiful detail work. The Caceria Building is a new mixed-use retail/office building.

The former United Way Building at 9th & Commerce across from the Convention Center will be demolished soon and replaced by a new 150-room Hampton Inn, being developed by Pearl Real Estate.

My friend John Roberts, architect and creator of the great Architecture in Fort Worth web site, says the Omni’s got two more occupied floors and four mechanical floors left to go before it tops out. Southwest Bank’s new urban building on 7th is making steady progress as well. The building will be a bank branch and will also have some leasable retail space besides the bank I believe. It was designed by local architect Robert W. Kelly.

SoSeven’s Shops & Lofts are making steady progress - one of the new buildings already has two levels of condos atop its ground-level retail space, and framing for the third should be rising shortly.

In the back of the property, they’re continuing with the construction of more blocks of townhomes.
