Terra Mediterranean Grill Open This Week

The newest eatery in the West 7th development is opening this week.  Terra Mediterranean Grill, the newest offering from the Chanaa family, has been chatting up their opening this week on their Twitter feed, and the Star-Telegram’s great Eats Beat man himself, Bud Kennedy, also mentioned the opening:

Now, the next major opening in the West Seventh area is days away:Terra Mediterranean Grill, a Lebanese restaurant from the owners ofAli Baba in Dallas.

The Chanaa family expects to open Terra next week.

Look for garlic chicken, gyros and hummus, maybe as soon as Monday at 2973 Crockett St., one block east of University Drive.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

Opened Monday: Very nice lunch buffet for 10 bucks and a good mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. Separate bar with its own seating and separate dinner menu.

I’ll be going this weekend. I used to drive about 80 miles back in the 90’s to go to Ali Baba on Lower Greenville. The Terra menu has some of my favorite items. I guess there is no need for me to drive to Dallas any longer!
