Tillman's Roadhouse @ West 7th Opens Tonight

Tillman’s at West 7th wrapping up construction.

We’ve heard from several places, including our own comments, that Tillman’s Roadhouse in the ground floor of one of the loft buildings at West 7th on Crockett Street would be opening tonight, and it looks as though that’s the case. Reservation site Open Table has availability for reservations tonight at Tillman’s, which you can reach by clicking this link.

Always good to see more activity coming online in the new 7th Street developments. For those of you out there who try out the new Tillman’s, drop a comment to let everybody know how you liked it.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

The interior is very cool in my opinion.
The menu is typical gormet regional/comfort food, nothing new, but a welcome addition to the genre that has grown in Fort Worth so much over the last decade. The category is well represented already with Lambert’s, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, Bonnell’s, Reata, Grady’s, and I’m sure another couple that I am forgetting.
It is still brand new and tough to judge, but I’m glad to see it join the mix in Fort Worth.
