  1. I can’t wait for both of these, I love going to the Arts Goggle and this will be the first time I’ve gone to First Friday on the Green. I’m super excited because I know live within easy biking distance of both events!

Does anyone know if dogs are allowed at Magnolia Green Park during the concerts?

  3. Jennifer,

I see tons of dogs at First Friday, so you should be OK. It seems to have become pretty popular in that regard!

bring your doggie bag if you know what I mean. too many Mag Green users don’t seem to clean up after their dogs, judging by the land mines I’ve seen when setting up a spot for the music. (not saying you, Jennifer).

  5. yes, bring your dog! it’s great dog watching :)

  6. Jennifer

Great! Thanks for all of your responses! We’ll be there with a chihuahua and Golden in tow. Bags, too, the people who don’t pick up after their dogs really irritates me and I’m not afraid to offer one of ours.

  7. Will you be giving a walking tour of downtown Fort Worth any time in the near future?

I’m not sure who to send this to, but cause Kevin seems tuned into all things southside, this seems like a good spot.

I enjoyed being at Arts Goggle while were there, and think it’s a great idea for the event to be on a very different weekend from FWADA’s Gallery Night.

I have a suggestion for the program/guide though. It seems to be modeled on the guide for Gallery Night, but most (though not all) of the venues participating in Gallery Night have an established exhibition schedule and policy so people have some kind of idea what they going to see both specifically and in general. So organizing the guide by venue makes sense.

Because most (though, again, not all) of the venues for Arts Goggle do NOT have an established exhibition schedule and policy, many people don’t know what to expect in any venue. In that context, organizing the venues alphabetically makes some sense, too. However, because many of the exhibiting artists have some kind of notoriety with little or no ongoing connection to the venue showing their work, it would be very useful if the Arts Goggle guide also included an alphabetical listing of artists, so that people who know the work of a participating artist, but don’t have any reason to associate that work with the particular business that’s hosting the artwork.
