First Friday On The Green – This Friday

The October First Friday on the Green in the Near Southside is coming up this Friday. First Friday on the Green is a free outdoor concert series at Magnolia Green Park, located in the Near Southside on Lipscomb between Magnolia and Rosedale.

This time around, First Friday on the Green welcomes three acts: The Burning Hotels, The Campaign, and Jimmy from Caroline’s Spine. The music kicks off at 7:00 PM.

Admission is free – you are encouraged to bring paper plates, cups, and individually wrapped snacks to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Chadra Mezza will be on hand to sell food and drink. Please, no outside containers or coolers – drink sales help fund First Friday for its sponsors.

Magnolia Green Park is easily accessible via bicycle, walking, public transportation, or driving. Magnolia Avenue’s bike lanes run right to the site. Free on-street and garage parking is available.
