Fort Worth Photo Monday: Random Selections From Flickr

Thought we’d kick this week off with something a bit different – we’ve ambled through a few Fort Worth photos on Flickr and have selected some interesting ones to share with You, The Readers. Clicking on any of them will take you to Flickr, to view them on the pages of their respective photographers.

First, user Claudio Branch brings us this HDR shot of the Man with Briefcase and 500 West 7th:

Next, user Wilderness Photographer gets a lovely shot of the Active Pool at the Water Gardens:

User Photography Burns grabbed this dramatic shot of the Marty Leonard Chapel:

User mahlisuh took this fisheye shot inside the Modern:

Finally, user Diorama Sky took this image of the clock tower at the Intermodal Transportation Center:

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

Awesome to all! I need to get out and start shooting something beside my daughter. Let’s just say I’m a little biased right now. Keep shooting guys!!!

  2. A new kid is a perfectly valid reason to be distracted, my friend. :)

I know this probably isn’t your intent, but if I were to choose one to favor, I would choose Claudio Branch’s illusions of fulfillment. A beautiful moment captured on film(let’s call it that, shall we). But they’re all quite nice. Thanks for posting.
