Both Gallery 1701 and Colonial Park apartments over on Roger Road near University Park Village are complete, and we went over to get some photos of the finished product. Click for a bigger view.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.
Took the dogs to the Trinity right by there this morning and thought the Colonial Park looked pretty nice.
I checked the website, and without specifically requesting information I could not find anything about pricing. Perhaps I was just missing it. Does anyone have any pricing info?
@Loren — Pricey. VERY pricey. But also very nice inside. If we sell the house in the next year or so, they’re definitely on the short list of places we’d check out for renting. They seemed to be very dog-friendly, the leasing agent we spoke to said there was no weight limit, and we saw a couple of HUGE labs in the “dog park”.
Interiors are nicely modern without being overly loft-ish. There were several really nice touches in the larger ones.
But I should reiterate that they’re expensive. Renting there for us would require some decent concessions on the monthly rate.
My wife and I are moving to Fort Worth shortly. Coming from Dallas I know very little about the neighborhoods of the city. I will be working in downtown off Throckmorton. I would prefer to cycle, walk or take public transportation. Does anyone have any recommendations for apartments or neighborhoods that would run $1100 or less.
