I Want to Ride my Bicycle, I Want to Ride my Bike

Speaking of Gallery Art Cafe, here’s the FortWorthologymobile parked in front of it – a shiny black Breezer Uptown 8 city bike. Full fenders, rear rack, LED lighting system, eight-speed Shimano Nexus internally geared hub, a full chain case, and even a bell.

Hows about you? What bike do you, The Readers, ride around urban Fort Worth?

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

Still in the process of outfitting it with bells and whistles. I’m not an urban Fort Worth dweller…just wishing Haltom City would get on the bike boat with their FTW/NRH neighbors.

I ride a super girly Harow Maude cruiser. Not the fastest bike in town, but a very comfortable, pleasant ride nonetheless.
