SoSeven Love Shack set for June opening

We’ve been reporting on chef Tim Love’s plans to open a branch of his Love Shack burger joint in the SoSeven development for a while now (see here, here), and now, John-Laurent Tronche in the Fort Worth Business Press reports that Love Shack SoSeven has an opening date: June.

West Seventh Street’s SoSeven mixed-use development is the venue for the second location of Stockyards burger joint The Love Shack, set to open in June under the direction of its creator, Tim Love.

The forthcoming Cultural District restaurant will seat 130 people in 4,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor space at 817 Matisse St., according to a press release issued April 17.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

    Where’s Matisse Street?

  2. JP,

I believe it’s one of the new streets being built in the development itself. They all seem to have art-themed names. It indicates to me that the Love Shack will be located in the interior of the new development blocks.
