West 7th Update

The West 7th development by Cypress Equities is really coming together at this point, as the buildings become more finished and it becomes easier to get a feel for their appearance and the streetscape around them. The One West 7th office building at 7th & Foch, seen above, has made quite a bit of progress and is really making an impact on the street.
A closer look at the 7th Street facade of the building, showing the third floor terrace and the new red metal feature over the entrance. One of the ground floor retail spaces in this building will be home to Delaney’s Irish Pub.
A view of the building to the west. This will be home to bowling alley Lucky Strike Lanes and Yofé, a yogurt cafe.
Corner view of the same building at 7th & Currie. The other part of the building, facing Crockett, will be L. A. Fitness and Movie Tavern.
The parking garage facing 7th. One of the retail spaces in the garage will be Fort Worth City Market.
At Crockett & Currie, the L. A. Fitness/Movie Tavern building.
Across Currie, the two apartment buildings have come a long way and are getting their facades now, mixtures of brick, stucco, and metal panels. The large curved balconies at the intersection complement those on the L. A. Fitness/Movie Tavern building. The rest of the building will feature smaller balconies or large terraces (for upper floor units). The corner on the left looks to be the home of Bailey’s Prime Plus Steakhouse.
Looking down Crockett between the two apartment buildings. As seen in our recent walkthrough of the development, the middle sections of the two apartment buildings set back a bit further to create a plaza space in the middle of the block. This stretch of Crockett will feature quite a few of the development’s retail tenants: Bailey’s Prime Plus Steakhouse, Avant Garden, Paciugo, Tillman’s Roadhouse, Patrizio, Fireside Pies, Brüt, and Ali Baba Mediterranean Cafe.
Behind one of the apartment buildings, at the corner of Morton & Norwood, a pool is being built for the apartment residents. This corner will also house the apartments’ leasing office.
The western corners of the apartment buildings at Crockett & Norwood feature large rounded balconies as well, in an opposite fashion to the eastern corners. This is the southern building.
And this is the northern building. These units should have nice views of the Cultural District to the west, especially the Modern and the Will Rogers Memorial Center.
Looking east down Crockett, between the two apartment buildings. This shows the narrow two-lane with on-street parking configuration of Crockett, and the wide sidewalks.
West 7th is certainly coming along. We hope to take another walkthrough of the development once it’s a bit more finished out.

Any word yet on when these rental units will be completed, or prices?
Does anyone know who will manage the apartments? AMLI, Gables, Lincoln Property? Just curious.
I think it’s Lincoln.
Keith,
I would like to change the date for an event being held at Sky Rock Condominiums on April, 17th due to inclement weather forecast. However…will not allow any additional comments at Sky Rock Condominiums. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Bren Bolster
Who is Keith?
And who won’t allow comments where?
I’m thinking he meant me. And it’s not about “now allowing” comments – they just get turned off automatically after x number of days. Spam prevention measure. It’s an automatic thing in Wordpress – I’m not actively disallowing the comments. If it really bothers anybody I can turn it off.
Kevin,
Yes, who is Keith? : )
We really enjoy Ft Worthology and the comments that are posted…very informative!
I posted a comment regarding an event scheduled for April 17th at Sky Rock Condominiums / 2800 Sandage. Due to inclement weather, the event has been rescheduled for Friday, April 27th. We would like to send you a personal invitation to attend “The Rooftop Happy Hour” from 3:00pm until 6:00pm… hoping you would sign autographs. Dutch’s will be catering this event and there will be a Margarita bar. It is open to the public.
My appoligies for posting in the wrong place…Would it be possible to post on Sky Rock Condominium’s and update?

P.S. – I am not from Dallas.
Correction – Rooftop Happy Hour / Sky Rock Condominiums
Friday, April 24th from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
