SoSeven Parkside Lofts & Retail Progress

SoSeven‘s next phase, the Parkside Lofts and retail shops, has come a long way lately and it’s starting to be more obvious what the new phase of development will look like. The phase began earlier with a shorter office & retail building to the west, and has continued with these larger residential & retail buildings along 7th & Stayton across from Trinity Park. Built atop an underground parking garage, the Parkside Lofts at SoSeven feature open floor plans and a pool terrace with outdoor kitchen.

We’ve heard some talk that the Parkside Lofts might wind up as rental units instead of the for-sale condos they were originally intended to be, but thus far it’s all rumors. We haven’t heard one way or another from Hughes.

As for retail, currently announced tenants include Love Shack, Primo’s Bar and Grill, Glen Arthur Leather and Suede Couture, and Performance Playground. Love Shack, Tim Love’s burger place from the Stockyards, looks to be the next tenant to open following Glen Arthur.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

I called the So7 group a few weeks back to find out when those units would be available for tours, pricing, etc. At that time, they told me the Parkside units would be rental units. :)
