Benito's is, of course, awesome. Wasn't going for a comprehensive list. :)

The biggest difference, to me, is that Arts Goggle is so much more compact and has more of a festive urban neighborhood sort of feel to it as a result. Everything is within an easy bike ride or trolley ride from everything else, and in fact the majority can be seen by nothing more than walking. Gallery Night's flyer lists venues all over the area - the Cultural District, University/Berry, the Mercado/Stockyards area, even in *Arlington.* That alone gives the thing a very different feel.

Gallery Night is great - don't get me wrong. I hope everybody takes advantage of it on Saturday night as well. I do think that Arts Goggle has evolved into its own, very unique thing and that it's more different from Gallery Night than you're giving it credit for. Arts Goggle is as much about the neighborhood and the district as it is about the art and music.

Actually this event was kind of modeled after the FWADA Gallery Night and piggybacked onto the FWADA weekend. Also similar to DADA walk. The only real difference is that it is businesses and not galleries, though many businesses open their doors for FWADA Gallery Night to show work.

Don't forget about Benito's, one of the oldest restaurants on Magnolia, and one of the tastiest. Definitely shouldn't be left off the list.
