So, I’m not entirely satisfied with the current “widebody” look of the site. I don’t think the benefit in width makes up for the more awkward text handling and such. I’m now cooking up a heavy redesign of the site, which might very well be the biggest one in site history (other than the cool but admittedly misguided “online magazine” thing from a while back). I’ve been working on it for a while and plan to tweak it and get it “just right.”
My intent is for the new design to be simple, streamlined, and clean. It will probably end up, aesthetically, looking a lot like the old “classic” Fort Worthology designs from nearer to the site’s inception.
As a tease - yes, one part of that will be the return of a variation on the simple “Title/Sky Gradient/Three Towers” header & logo that was shed long ago. Everything old is new again.
