West 7th

At the West 7th development by Cypress Equities, things are moving right along as well. The development’s first structure, the parking garage shown above, has topped out. This garage, fortunately, will be concealed on one side with decorative facade work, will be surrounded on the other three sides by a mixed-use retail/apartment building, and will feature ground-level retail on the 7th Street frontage.

Down the street, the second building to top out is this mixed-use retail/office building at 7th & Foch. Another parking structure will go in behind it. The rest of the block will be filled with a large mixed-use building containing ground-level retail, an LA Fitness, Lucky Strike Lanes, and the development’s Movie Tavern Premiere.

Across the street, another part of West 7th – a new urban Sovereign Bank – is going up as well.

Further back in the development, another parking structure is rising, which will be surrounded by another mixed-use retail/apartment building.

The ground floor of one of the mixed-use retail/apartment buildings – the rest will be wood framing, meaning this building will be five stories tall.

Another mixed-use retail/apartment building rises on the next block.

Prep work is underway on the other blocks for more structures, like the development’s still-unnamed hotel.
