The Carnegie

A lot of the work underway on the Carnegie now is the installation of the building’s ornate stone detailing at the top and ground-level. I really love the way the building’s turning out. Details:

There’s a pretty clear view of the stonework going in at the building’s upper levels. I like the design used for the ornamentation. Has a little hint of Prairie School to it.

The ground floor is more difficult to get a clear photo of - it’s pretty much just Scaffolding City at the moment - but the same sort of ornate stone detailing is going up here as well.

The Carnegie is a spec office tower being built by the Bass Family in Sundance Square. It will apparently open pretty much fully leased, and will have ground-level retail. It was designed by David M. Schwarz.
