New Site Plans For West 7th

I’ve received these two new plans for the under-construction West 7th development by Cypress Equities in the Cultural District. The plan above shows the location of the already announced retail tenants in the development – it’s a little blurry, but you can see where the Movie Tavern, Lucky Strike, Fireside Pies, and the rest will be located within the development. The rest of the spaces are marked as “Available.”

Below is a site plan from the 7th Street side that shows off the project’s eventual height and density well, along with the distribution of uses within the development. Click either plan for a bigger view.

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.

any chance of a higher res version of the first plan to see what tenants there are?

    Chad,

That’s the best I’ve got at the moment. The only tenants listed are the ones that have been previously announced. You can search the site for “West 7th” and find the post where I detailed them.

Any idea when this project is supposed to be finished?
