The Fort Worthology Show, Episode One – Livable Neighborhoods, Real Communities

The Fort Worthology Show

That’s right – at long last, I am proud to announce the arrival of the first episode of The Fort Worthology Show, the new podcast about urban design and architecture.  Episode One deals with urban grocers, livable neighborhood design, and the definition of real community.

NOTE: The URL given in the show’s end for the show page on the site is incorrect. That link is actually for the show’s feed. The correct link for the show’s main page is fortworthology.com/show.

This podcast is in .m4a format, with visual accompaniment. If you’re listening on an iPod, iPod touch, iPhone, or listening in iTunes, or listening with the site’s built-in player here, you’ll see the artwork change throughout the show.

You can subscribe to the show in iTunes by clicking here, which would let you automatically sync new episodes with your iPod, iPod touch, or iPhone. Soon, we’ll have the show on the iTunes Store itself, which will make it ever easier. EDIT: The show is now available on the iTunes Store:

Responsible and thoughtful comments are welcome. Be aware, though, that this site exists in part as an advocacy site for New Urbanism and its potential to remake Fort Worth into an even more livable city than it is today. Thoughtful dissent is generally welcome insofar as it fosters thoughtful replies. Inflammatory dissent, whether intentional or not, will be deleted. Commenters whose comments we routinely delete will be banned. Nothing personal, but this is a privately owned and operated web site, and we are aiming for a specific tone and audience. Work within those guidelines and all will be well.
