Making Way For Aloft – Another Museum Place Demolition

Apologies for the low-quality photo – ’twas evening and I had no tripod. Nevertheless, another building has fallen in the path of Museum Place. This time, it was the white brick building behind Domain that seemed to have mainly been medical offices. It’s been demolished to clear the way for the development’s Aloft Hotel and ground-floor retail space.

Museum Place has not released a rendering of what their specific Aloft will look like, but judging by the building’s appearance in the background of other Museum Place renderings, it will at least have the distinctive Aloft roof treatment. Here’s an example of an Aloft (the Museum Place Aloft will, of course, be in an urban setting, unlike this rendering):
