There has been a huge amount of earth moving going on all over the Trinity Bluff area in Uptown. It looks like the next several phases are nearing their kickoff times, and even more looks to be in the works. The tower crane up at the Villa De Leon serves as a powerful symbol of the neighborhood’s current activity.
Block after block around the VDL site and up and down Samuels have been cleared out in preparation for the development’s next phases, such as the new Lincoln developments that I reported about back in December. In fact, there’s a facade sample up for what I assume will be further Lincoln development - looks similar to the Lincoln Trinity Bluff apartments that are already complete.
Now that the Palisades townhomes are finished across from the Lincoln, you can get a small sense of what the neighborhood will look like when more built out.
Still hearing occasional rumors of a retail component for the development, but I haven’t heard anything concrete just yet. When I find out more, I’ll report it.
