Museum Place progress – the Wreck Room has been wrecked!

It was bound to happen sooner or later, and it is finally so – the Wreck Room is no more. The legendary dive bar has finally be demolished, clearing the way for another part of the Museum Place mixed-use development.
Meanwhile…
The new 7-11 Corner Store/condo building at 7th & Arch Adams is progressing very well, with the facade seemingly nearing completion.
Finally, the big retail/office/condo building at 7th & Bailey keeps rising, with work now beginning on the fifth floor. Across the street, dirt is turning now on the glassy Flatiron-style building at 7th & Camp Bowie as well.
