Welcome to Fort Worthology, Star-Telegram readers!

If you’re just arriving after reading about Fort Worthology in Anthony Spangler’s piece on blogging in Fort Worth, welcome! It’s a pleasure to have you. Fort Worthology is all about promoting urban development and transit here in the Panther City. I’m Kevin Buchanan, your host, and I’m a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism. I strive to curb Fort Worth’s cookie-cutter car-based suburban sprawl and encourage smart, pedestrian-friendly, transit-enabled denser development in its place.

Fort Worthology brings you news of new urban development, education on smart urban design and planning, advocacy for transit, bits of Fort Worth history, and architectural critique and discussion, along with dashes of restaurant reviews and local events. We’ve also got the Internet’s most complete urban living guide (soon to be made even better), and we’re working on giving you a complete urban restaurant & bar guide as well (still under construction). Basically, if you want to know what’s happening in urban Fort Worth, and what our city’s urban revolution is all about, you’re looking at the Internet’s only resource devoted to telling you all about it. I invite you to become one of our regular readers, and interact in the comments. It is really great to have you here.

To get you started, here’s a selection of some of our recent content. Feel free to browse the site, and get lost in the various posts and pages - I’m sure you’re going to like what you find.
