Sawyer Grocery redevelopment update

We reported earlier on the redevelopment of the old Sawyer Grocery buildings on South Main getting underway, and here’s a little peek at their progress. Some work has been done uncovering the ground floors of the buildings, but most of the work going on right now is inside – looking up through the windows shows extensive interior restoration underway.

When complete, the buildings will feature four ground-floor retail spaces and fourteen apartments. The project is being done by Eddie Vanston of the Carillon Group, who have previously restored the Markeen, Leuda-May, and LaSalle apartments, the three of which are also in Fort Worth South.
