The Carnegie, the new David Schwarz-designed office/retail tower on 3rd Street, has reached 12 of 16 floors. Framing for the windows and walls is going on now as well, so you can start to get a good idea of the building’s massing and fenestration.
The Carnegie will eventually rise to 236 feet. EOG Resources will be the building’s main tenant, with other tenants filling out the rest of the space. The ground floor will feature retail and restaurant space. It’ll be great to see it finish out, and best of all, it replaced a parking lot. Densification rolls onward.
