Sneaky BS in District 9 Race

A couple of things related to the District 9 City Council race have been brought to my attention, and I’d just like to comment on them.

First, whoever stole the Vote Bernie sign from Spiral Diner’s window and replaced it with a Juan Rangel sign? Yeah, you’re not cool. I seriously doubt Juan would want you doing that, since it just makes him look bad, and it serves to irritate an important local business owner (Amy is most definitely a Bernie supporter). So just knock it off, alright? Act like an adult, not a fifth grader.

Secondly, I don’t know who’s spreading around this little whisper campaign about Bernie just being in the race for fun, and not seriously trying to be a city councilperson, but that needs to stop as well. I can tell you that Bernie’s serious about our city and District 9, and this is no joke to him. So, again, act like grownups and run a real campaign, bokay?
