Carnegie construction progress

Work has begun on the Carnegie’s 8th floor, putting the building at the halfway point. It is already becoming apparent how much bulk and sense of enclosure it will add to 3rd Street.

I know the modernists hate Schwarz’s buildings, but I’m still a fan. I dig traditional architecture when done right, and Schwarz knows how to do it right.
