The Lights Are Out at Pier One

Been noticing something in the night skyline lately? Or, rather, not noticing something? In what strikes us as very disappointing news, Pier One Imports has officially turned off the stunning night lighting on their world headquarters Pier One Place tower to save money. No more giant lit up crown or shaft of light shooting deep into the night sky above Panther City - in fact, without the night lighting the building looks rather dead at night now. Here’s hoping that the troubled company can turn things around and bring back the brilliant lighting atop the tower one of these days.
