Urban Home Tour - The Neil P. at Burnett Park

(Photography for this feature by Kevin Buchanan and Stephen Kinch)

Today’s stop on the urban home tour is the Neil P. at Burnett Park, the condo redevelopment of the historic Neil P. Anderson cotton exchange building from 1921 in downtown.

The Neil P. at Burnett Park is a downtown Fort Worth luxury boutique condominium development. Built in 1921 as the headquarters for the Neil P. Anderson Cotton Company, the 11-story building has been converted into a 57-unit residential development (including the Penthouse) with floor plans ranging from 760 – 2252 square feet. One, two and three bedroom models are available with 13 floor plans to choose from. The Penthouse occupies the entire 11th floor, totaling 4,158 square feet with a 5,148 square foot roof garden - and as of this writing, it is already under contract.

One of the most unique parts of the development is the Sanctuary located behind the building. The Sanctuary is accessible from both the second and third floors and features a multi-level, infinity edge swimming pool and hot tub spa made from native Austin and Field stones. Extensive trees and plants, tables and chairs with umbrellas, and a fully-stocked kitchen provide a very pleasant atmosphere. The Sanctuary fills the space between the building and the adjacent structures, and is sheltered from the city by the surrounding buildings, making it quite calm and tranquil. We think the Sanctuary is a fantastic use of space and a wonderful addition to the development.

Prices range from the $200,000s to the $700,000s for floor plans ranging from 760 to 2,252 square feet. Tell Whitney that Kevin and the team at Fort Worthology sent you - he’s a wonderfully helpful and friendly guy.

This is one of Fort Worthology’s favorite developments, and if you’re looking for a condo and want something more finished-out than a loft, the Neil P. should be stop #1 on your tour. The entire project very nearly drips quality (how often do you see elevators with leather floors?), and is remarkably attractive. We’re also big fans of the unique, original scissor windows.

Now, Fort Worthology presents this selection of photos from the Neil P, including the lovely Sanctuary.
