Urban Home Tour – Le Bijou

(Photography for this feature by Kevin Buchanan and Stephen Kinch)

Today, we present the second part of our urban home tour, focusing on the new Le Bijou townhomes on the east side of downtown.

Le Bijou is one of the newest urban living options in Fort Worth. Located on the east side of downtown, they have replaced a parking lot that formerly surrounded the Granger Building and are three stories tall, plus rooftop decks. The development, designed by local architect Ken Schaumburg, features large, open floor plans and a list of amenities a mile long, including valet dry cleaning, grocery delivery, and more. The interiors of the units can be designed in either traditional or contemporary styles, depending on which direction one’s tastes skew. All units also include a private elevator.

Floor plans range from 3,140 square feet to 4,956 square feet. As you might expect, with the downtown location, large floor plans, and long list of amenities, Le Bijou sits on the upper end of the urban housing spectrum, with prices starting at $900,000. If you’re in the market for luxury downtown living, though, and prefer townhomes over condos, Le Bijou should definitely be on your short list. We were impressed on the outside with the quality urban design of the development, and impressed on the inside by the posh finishes, space, and lovely detailing.

Now, a selection of photos from Le Bijou – note that our photos were taken during an earlier construction phase, and the whole development is quite a bit more finished out now.

For more information, make sure to visit the official Le Bijou site.
