One of the big parts of Fort Worthology is our Urban Living page, wherein we give you information about Fort Worth’s urban living options. Today, we’re kicking off a series of detailed looks at some urban Fort Worth properties, complete with extensive interior photos. Our first entry covers the Palisades, the townhome development that is part of the Trinity Bluff project.
Before we get started, we’d like to take this time to give credit to the photographers. Some of the photos in this feature are by Kevin Buchanan, Fort Worthology’s founder and editor-in-chief. The others are by Stephen Kinch, a talented Fort Worthian who shares our passion for this city and its urban development. This marks Stephen’s first appearance on Fort Worthology in the photography role, and we’re glad to have him. Now, on with the feature.
The Palisades townhomes are hard to miss - there are now several rows of them between Bluff Street and the Belknap bridge. They feature a fresh, modern yellow/tan brick and off-white stucco exterior design and stand three stories tall, and all feature rooftop decks.

The Palisades are across Bluff Street from the new Lincoln at Trinity Bluff apartments, and are a major portion of the urban redevelopment of the bluffs. The Palisades and the Lincoln form the beginnings of a new urban neighborhood, and have radically transformed the environment on the bluffs. Progress has not stopped yet, either - already, there are many more lots being cleared for more townhome, apartment, and condo developments on the Bluffs down Samuels Avenue.
Floor plans range from 1875 square feet to 3,060 square feet, in several two and three bedroom configurations. All units have a two-car garage accessed by a rear alley. Interiors can be customized with a choice of hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, carpet, countertops, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and more. Prices range from $324,900 to $589,900.
Below are a selection of photos from the Palisades:

This view will be substantially improved as the new Tarrant County College campus is completed.
