Vote Bernie

I’ve mentioned Bernie Scheffler, owner of Panther City Bicycles, and his District 9 City Council bid on the site before, but today was the first chance I had to really look over his platform. Bernie’s platform, and particularly his push for much stronger historic preservation, a more pedestrian-friendly Fort Worth, promoting locally-owned independent business, and especially his strong push for finally bringing light rail to Fort Worth, makes him the ideal person for the District 9 seat, covering as it does downtown and many of Fort Worth’s other urban areas such as Fort Worth South.
